Accountant

eCarsTrade is an online remarketing platform for used cars. We primarily purchase cars from leasing companies and sell them to small and medium-sized car dealers across Europe. The company is experiencing very healthy growth, and to support this, we are looking for an Accountant . Responsibilities • You will be responsible for booking purchase and sales invoices, customer deposits, and credit notes ; • Preparing and following up on payments is part of your extensive range of duties; • You are in contact with suppliers ensuring efficient follow-up. • You manage customer and supplier balances . • You handle the booking of financial and payroll transactions. • You provide support with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks such as payroll, inventory, reporting, monthly closing, etc. • You are able to independently optimize and automate accounting processes; • Experience with calculating inventory value at month-end closing is a major plus. Requirements • Associate Degree in Accountancy or equivalent through previous work experience ; • You are socially oriented and have strong communication skills; • A pleasant and collegial working atmosphere is of great importance to you; • You can work independently and have a proactive work ethic, but enjoy working as part of a team ; • You work correctly , punctually , and accurately ; • 5 years of experience in a similar role is a major asset; Benefits • An attractive daily rate as an independent contractor • You will join a young, fast-growing modern SME with short decision-making lines ; Originally posted on Himalayas
