BACKEND ENGINEER

This is a remote position. Build robust backend systems powering platforms.The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust server-side applications and APIs that power digital platforms. Key Responsibilities • Develop APIs and backend services • Integrate third-party systems (payments, banking APIs) • Ensure performance, security, and scalability • Collaborate with frontend,product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver functional and user-focused solutions. Reqirements • 6–9 years experience • Strong experience with APIs and backend frameworks • Strong experience with backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or similar technologies. • Solid knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL). • Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, or CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage. • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.​ Key Skills APIs | Node.js / Java / Python | Databases | System Integration Originally posted on Himalayas
