Role Title: Bengali Transcription Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Bengali Transcription Experts to participate in a customer's project focused on high-quality language data. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work: • Transcribe Bengali audio recordings and video content with high accuracy and attention to detail. • Ensure correct representation of accents, dialects, and linguistic nuances in the transcribed text. • Review and edit machine-generated transcripts for errors and inconsistencies, refining them for clarity and correctness. • Label and annotate transcription data according to project-specific guidelines and standards. • Communicate effectively with project coordinators to resolve ambiguities and uphold quality benchmarks. • Meet defined project milestones and deliverables through consistent, reliable participation. • Utilize provided tools and platforms for submission and quality control of deliverables. Preferred Qualifications: • Native or near-native proficiency in Bengali, with excellent command of spelling, grammar, and syntax. • Demonstrated experience in transcription, translation, linguistics, or related language work. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clarity and accuracy. • Familiarity with regional variations and cultural context in Bengali language usage. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on repetitive tasks while ensuring quality. • Comfort working independently in a remote, digital environment. • Adaptable, responsive, and able to incorporate feedback to improve deliverable quality.
