Role Title: Biochemistry Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Biochemistry Experts to contribute to a customer's project focused on advancing AI capabilities in the life sciences. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work • Review complex biochemical datasets, research findings, and protocols to provide accurate, expert-level annotation and validation. • Develop and refine content, use cases, and scenarios based on current biochemistry practices for AI model training purposes. • Assess the scientific validity and clarity of biochemistry-related prompts, model-generated outputs, and informational resources. • Collaborate with technical teams to translate domain-specific insights into actionable feedback for improving AI systems. • Identify knowledge gaps, ambiguities, and edge cases within biochemical content to enhance model robustness. • Deliver clear, concise written and verbal explanations of complex concepts to inform AI training processes. • Participate in iterative review cycles to ensure the ongoing accuracy and relevance of biochemistry inputs. Preferred Qualifications • Advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, or equivalent experience) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field. • Demonstrated expertise in biochemical mechanisms, laboratory methods, and current literature. • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills applied to data interpretation and problem solving. • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a passion for clarity and detail. • Experience contributing to scientific publications, peer reviews, or educational content. • Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration, ideally in research, biotech, or health science projects. • Curiosity for technology and openness to leveraging domain knowledge in innovative AI contexts.
