Position: Bilingual Dutch (Netherlands) STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety Type: Contract Compensation: $61–$65/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities • Write expert-level prompts in Netherlands Dutch across specialized scientific topics. • Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy, helpfulness, and appropriate handling of sensitive content. • Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations. • Work independently and asynchronously to ensure model safety and performance. • Collaborate with AI research teams to improve model handling of technical topics in Dutch. Qualifications Must-Have • PhD in chemistry , biology , or a closely related field — ongoing or completed. • Native or near-native fluency in Dutch as spoken in the Netherlands. • Business-level written English . • Currently based in the Netherlands . • Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques. • Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information. Preferred • Radiological and nuclear coverage from a chemistry background. • Demonstrated depth in a specific subfield such as organic or inorganic synthesis , molecular biology , microbiology , virology , or genetics . • Research or coursework on chemical safety and security, biosafety and biosecurity, or hazardous-materials handling. • Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming technical content.
