Dynamics 365 Power Platform Tester

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dynamics 365 Tester to lead and execute testing efforts across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), with a strong focus on validating integrations and end-to-end business processes. This role requires hands-on experience with manual and automated testing and an understanding of content management, workflows, and system integrations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a SAFe Agile environment and bring a strong focus on quality, continuous improvement, and business process validation. Essential Functions • Design and execute test plans across Dynamics 365, Power Platform and SharePoint Online, and integrated solutions (functional, regression, integration, performance, UAT) • Validate Power Platform capabilities including document management, workflows, permissions, and user experience • Test and ensure quality across integrations between Dynamics 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, and related platforms • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate end-to-end business processes and requirements • Document defects, test results, and maintain logs; raise risks and escalate when needed • Support user acceptance testing and provide guidance to business users • Leverage tools such as Azure DevOps, Mabl, Playwright, and other frameworks to improve coverage and efficiency • Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and integration validation strategies Required Experience • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) • 4+ years of software testing experience, including manual and automated testing • 3+ years of experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform • Experience validating system integrations, workflows, and data exchange across platforms • Familiarity with test management tools (Azure DevOps, Playwright or Mabl) • Strong understanding of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) • Experience working within the SAFe framework • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Preferred Experience • Experience testing Dynamics 365 and SharePoint integrations • Familiarity with SharePoint supporting workflows and integrations • Experience in environments focused on content management and business process modernization • SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Tester) • Candidates located in the Washington, DC metro area or Chicago are strongly preferred Competencies • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams • Proactive risk identification with timely escalation • Ability to support modernization efforts, including validating new solutions as legacy platforms are retired and business processes are streamlined • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and coverage Originally posted on Himalayas
