Position: Investment Operations & Fund Accounting Analyst Type: Contract Compensation: $75–$110/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 15 hours/week Role Responsibilities • Reconcile ledgers against custodian/bank statements . Isolate and explain residual differences. Produce signed-off reconciliation with adjusting entries. • Attribute NAV movements . Flag components outside tolerance and write variance commentary. • Investigate trade breaks between systems. Identify root cause, classify the break, propose fixes, and draft investigation narratives. • Process corporate-action events . Compute entitlements per account. Handle payment/transfer exceptions and match merchant/vendor descriptors to a canonical registry. • Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance . Qualifications Must-Have • 3+ years in fund administration or investment operations. • Experience with fund accounting , reconciliations , corporate actions , trade support , or payment operations . • Strong Excel skills. Preferred • CPA or IOC certification. • Experience with fund-accounting systems like SS&C , Geneva , Multifonds , or InvestOne . • Familiarity with SWIFT/settlement systems .
