GitHub Specialist

Role Title: GitHub Specialist Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging GitHub Specialists to support a customer project focused on completing and documenting real-world workflows within GitHub. In this role, you’ll use your hands-on GitHub experience to complete realistic workflows and contribute high-quality interaction data that supports the development of next-generation AI systems. Scope of Work • Complete assigned workflows and tasks within GitHub using your practical software development and version control experience. • Navigate GitHub features related to repositories, branches, commits, pull requests, issues, and collaboration. • Create, edit, review, and manage repositories and common GitHub workflows based on provided instructions. • Use Git and GitHub to complete common version control tasks such as branching, merging, commits, and pull requests. • Record your screen while completing assigned workflows and clearly demonstrate the steps taken. • Create realistic prompts and detailed rubrics based on completed workflows. • Document workflow steps and clearly explain the GitHub tools, features, and actions used. • Review task outputs for accuracy and alignment with project guidelines. • Follow project instructions and quality standards while working independently in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications • Strong hands-on experience using GitHub in professional, project-based, or open-source environments. • Prior Human Data experience, such as data annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or similar work. • Current access to GitHub and ability to use the platform independently. • Comfortable recording and sharing your screen while completing GitHub workflows. • Strong attention to detail and ability to clearly explain technical workflows.
