Lead Personalization & Data Architect

Project-Based | Remote | Limited Engagement We are looking for an experienced Lead Architect to design and shape the “Intelligence Layer” of our React Native mobile application. This is a high-impact, short-term consulting engagement (a few hours total) focused on providing strategic architectural direction , not long-term implementation. Requirements About the Role You will act as the critical bridge between raw data systems and our React Native engineering team . Your mission is to design a system that enables our developers to deliver personalized user experiences effortlessly — without requiring deep expertise in data science or CDP orchestration. You’ll define: • Data flow and architecture • System “contracts” • SDK and integration strategy What You’ll Do Strategy & Architecture • Design the Data “Plumbing” Build a scalable architecture connecting: • Historical data (Data Warehouse) • Real-time behavioral data (Streaming) → into a unified decisioning engine • Enable Developers Create clean technical abstractions such as: • React Context providers • Custom Hooks • API wrappers So the mobile team can easily consume personalization logic • Own Identity Resolution Define a cross-platform identity strategy ensuring seamless “guest recognition” across web and mobile • Define the Tech Stack Recommend and justify the optimal combination of: • CDP (Customer Data Platform) • Decisioning engine • Analytics tools balancing power with ease of use • Establish Schema Governance Create a global event taxonomy to ensure data consistency across the ecosystem About the Project • New initiative (greenfield architecture) • Focused on building a personalization intelligence layer from the ground up • Designed to empower an existing React Native team Must-Have Expertise • Personalization Specialist Proven experience designing closed-loop personalization systems (Collect → Segment → Decide → Deliver) • The Orchestrator Deep expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and data routing strategies • Decisioning Systems Experience with: • Feature flagging • Remote config tools • Dynamic UI rendering • Data Warehouse Fluency Strong SQL skills and experience activating user segments from a warehouse • Mobile-First Mindset Solid understanding of: • React Native architecture • Performance constraints • Offline-first scenarios • Asynchronous data flows Engagement Details • Short-term consulting (a few hours total) • Fully remote • Focus: architecture & strategy only (no long-term implementation expected) Why This Role? • Shape a high-leverage architecture with immediate impact • Work on a modern personalization stack • Collaborate with a fast-moving mobile team • Deliver value quickly without long-term commitment Highlights Design a scalable “Intelligence Layer” enabling real-time personalization in a React Native app—high-impact, short-term role focused on architecture, data flow, and developer-friendly solutions.
