Position: Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Expert — Data Centers Type: Contract Compensation: $100–$140/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 5–10 hours/week Role Responsibilities • Review complex engineering tasks in data-center environments . Focus on cooling , hydronic systems , HVAC , and electrical systems . • Check engineering assumptions, calculations, and standards. Ensure compliance with codes and equipment data . • Identify ambiguities and improve task prompts, acceptance criteria, and rubrics. • Validate corrected tasks end to end. Produce clear technical findings. • Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines. Qualifications Must-Have • 2+ years of experience in data-center or mission-critical MEP design. • Strong command of data-center systems and relevant codes . • Ability to interpret large document sets and explain technical issues clearly. Preferred • Experience at a leading multidisciplinary or consulting engineering firm. • PE or recognized commissioning credential.
