Payroll Associate (apprentice)

Reporting to a Senior Payroll Specialist and part of our French Payroll Team (3 persons), you will support our payroll operations in France, helping to deliver the monthly payroll for our 460 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance while maintaining an employee-centric approach. In your day to day, and in coordination with our Payroll Specialist, you will: Participate in the monthly payroll production process using ADP Decidium Retrieve the monthly payroll data from our HRIS (Workday) Enter and verify payroll data, maintain and update employee records in ADP Decidium Calculate and process salaries, social charges, and taxes according to French regulations and our bargaining agreement (SYNTEC) Contact with agencies such as Social Security or PrĂ©voyance, etc. Handle the recovery of daily social security indemnities (IJSS) Monitor sick leave until the initiation of the âPrĂ©voyanceâ and ensure follow-up of active âPrĂ©voyanceâ claims. Generate and distribute payslips to the employeesâ evault (Peopledoc) Get involved in all recurring payroll cycle activities (certifications, reporting, etc.). Respond to queries from employees, third parties, and other stakeholders. What Weâre Looking For You are looking for an apprenticeship contract (contrat dâapprentissage ou de professionnalisation) for one or two years. Technical Competencies You are preparing a licence or masterâs degree (Bac +3 to Bac +5) in Payroll or HR Strong interests for Payroll English proficiency: intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, formula creation) Comfortable working with IT tools and numerical calculations. A first professional experience (internship, summer jobâŠ) will be appreciated. Non-Technical Competencies Rigor and attention to detail. Critical thinking skills (able to analyze and challenge the data). Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under deadlines Strong team player with effective communication, collaboration, and mutual support. Diplomatic and tactful communication skills, especially when dealing with employees. Curious and eager to learn new skills and knowledge.
