Power Platform / SharePoint Developer (PL845)
Our consulting client is seeking an experienced Power Platform and SharePoint Developer to support a time-sensitive remediation and migration programme. The engagement centres on converting Nintex-based solutions into Power Platform and migrating SharePoint environments from on-premises to SharePoint Online. This is a delivery-focused role requiring strong hands-on engineering discipline and the ability to operate independently within tight timelines. Duration: 3 Months Contract (with thepossibility of extension) Job Location: Toronto, Canada OR India (Remote EST timing) Requirements Key Responsibilities • Review existing Nintex forms and workflows to determine retain vs. retire decisions, and translate requirements into technical designs, migration plans, and build estimates. • Recreate Nintex workflow logic using Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps, implementing robust error handling, retries, logging, and observability aligned with engineering standards. • Develop and maintain SharePoint Online solutions including modern sites, lists, libraries, content types, and permissions. • Build custom components using SPFx (TypeScript/React) and apply JSON formatting for list views and columns. • Integrate SharePoint and external services using Microsoft Graph and REST APIs. • Support UAT, defect triage, staged migrations, cutover coordination, and post-migration validation. • Produce technical documentation, configuration guides, migration playbooks, and operational support notes. Required Experience • Proven, hands-on delivery of production solutions using Power Automate (cloud flows, approvals, connectors, error handling) and SharePoint Online. • Strong SPFx development experience (TypeScript, React, packaging, deployment). • Demonstrated workflow migration experience, specifically Nintex to Power Platform or legacy SharePoint workflows to modern automation platforms. • Proficiency with JSON for SharePoint formatting and integration payloads. • Experience integrating with Microsoft Graph and REST APIs. • Ability to translate business process requirements into working code, applying solid engineering practices including source control, code reviews, and testing discipline. • Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Have • Azure Logic Apps design and implementation for complex orchestration scenarios. • Experience with on-premises SharePoint and hybrid architectures. • Background modernising legacy tooling such as Nintex Forms/Workflows, SharePoint 2013 Workflow Engine, or InfoPath. • Experience supporting large-scale migration programmes with multiple sites migrating in parallel. • Familiarity with SharePoint migration tooling, including SPMT, and content migration validation.
