STAT Recovery Services
Product Manager (Contract, 4 Months)
Who is STAT? We're a recovery management firm focused on delivering value to suppliers. Our mission is to be widely recognized as the best at helping suppliers get paid everything they're owed by retailers. Our vision is to create an environment where we all love working, and an experience our customers rave about. Culture at STAT STAT is a fast-growing, tech-enabled services company — bootstrapped, private-equity owned, and on solid financial footing. Our team is remotely distributed across 17+ states, with headquarters in Northwest Arkansas. We believe in having fun while working hard. Every team member brings something uniquely valuable to the table, and we reinforce that culture through in-person gatherings, an annual retreat, and celebrating each other's wins. About the Role This is a 4-month, project-based engagement built around AI-driven product work. You'll partner closely with design, engineering, and leadership to move fast on discovery, prototyping, and shaping product decisions — with AI fluency as the core of how you work, not an add-on. You'll actively use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and rapid prototyping platforms (Lovable, v0, Cursor) to compress discovery-to-prototype time and sharpen product decisions. This is a hands-on, builder-oriented engagement — less about long-range roadmap ownership, more about rapidly turning ideas into validated, testable concepts. What You'll Do • Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to synthesize user research, draft PRDs and user stories, and run rapid competitive analysis • Prototype and validate product concepts using AI-assisted tools (Lovable, v0, Cursor) to enable fast stakeholder alignment • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and opportunities • Collaborate with stakeholders to explore ways to improve and expand current product offerings • Build a strong qualitative and quantitative understanding of our clients and how they use our products • Help define how AI capabilities fit into the product, evaluate trade-offs, and communicate model limitations clearly Who You Are • 4-6 years of Product Management experience in client-centered environments • Fluent with AI tools — comfortable prompting LLMs to produce product artifacts (PRDs, user stories, competitive briefs), and able to critically evaluate and edit AI output rather than accept it wholesale • Comfortable with rapid prototyping tools (Lovable, v0, Cursor, or similar) • Self-motivated, comfortable owning your workload independently • Strong at turning loosely defined problems into clear, testable concepts • Detail-oriented, with strong written and analytical skills • Experienced working remotely and cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and analysts Bonus Points • B2B SaaS or Fintech experience • Retail / supply chain background • Familiarity with Jira, Figma, Fullstory, PowerBI, or SQL To Stand Out: In place of a cover letter, share the following walkthrough: Using an AI tool of your choice (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.), draft a short product brief for a feature you'd add to our product. Share the prompt you used, what you changed or rejected from the AI output, and why — this tells us more about how you think than the output itself.
