Research Assistant (Virtual Clinical Study)

Sidekick , an injury rehab products company, is running a fully virtual clinical study of a balance-training device for people recovering from ankle sprains. About 80 participants across Canada will complete a 28-day at-home program with virtual check-ins. You'll be the participant's main point of contact. You will screen and enroll participants, run virtual study visits by video, guide them through standardized functional assessments, monitor daily symptom diaries and follow up on missed entries, and record data in the electronic data capture system according to protocol. You'll be trained on all assessments by the study's physiotherapist investigator and work alongside a clinical trial consultant on protocol compliance. Requirements • Graduate degree (or in progress) in a health-related field: physiotherapy, kinesiology, nursing, public health, rehabilitation science, or similar • Experience with human-subject research, ideally in a coordinator or RA role • Current GCP certification, or willingness to complete it before start • Comfortable running structured video sessions with participants and keeping meticulous records • Available 20–25 hours per week, with some flexibility for participant scheduling (evenings/weekends) • Based in Canada Benefits • $30/hour • Fully remote, set your own hours within participant availability • Hands-on clinical trial experience from enrolment through study close, on a study intended for peer-reviewed publication • Training on standardized functional assessments from a practicing physiotherapist • Small team with direct access to the investigator and study sponsor To Apply: Complete this form: Only applicants who have completed the form will be considered.
