Role Title: Research & Insights Expert - PowerPoint Review & Reconstruction Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Research & Insights Experts to contribute to a customer’s project focused on elevating executive-level business presentations. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work • Receive images of research and insights slides (e.g., research readouts, survey results, segmentation analyses, competitive landscapes) and reconstruct them in Microsoft PowerPoint with enhanced clarity and visual impact. • Apply advanced presentation design, data visualization, and content editing skills to improve slide quality while preserving research accuracy and intent. • Write a comprehensive log for each assignment, detailing all changes made and justifying decisions to retain or reject specific elements, emphasizing both improvement and preservation of sound choices. • Ensure factual accuracy and maintain domain-specific definitions, caveats, and research context throughout each slide reconstruction. • Demonstrate and articulate effective visual storytelling, message hierarchy, supported titles, and exhibit selection in executive presentations. • Participate in task-based, sprint-driven production cycles with flexible timing; each slide engagement is expected to require 1–2 hours. Preferred Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, analytics, or related quantitative research disciplines. • Proven expertise in building or refining executive or client-facing presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. • Strong proficiency in data visualization, slide reconstruction, and presentation design principles tailored for research communication. • Exceptional critical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written communication skills. • Ability to defend methodological choices and explain the rationale behind design and messaging decisions. • Background as an industry practitioner or consultant in research and insights, with domain expertise prioritized over consulting-firm pedigree. • Experience in AI training, evaluation, or rubric development is a plus, but not required.
