Senior Java Developer – Full Remote – Contractor in USD – Star
Category: IT Services Location: For an international organization in Europe, we are urgently looking for a Full REMOTE Java Developer with +5 years of experience. As a Java Developer, you will develop new and expand existing web-based functionalities. Candidates need to be able to work normal European office hours. Candidates need to be able to start on 1st of July. Tasks and Responsibilities: â ⢠Develop using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability; ⢠Implementing the detailed application design of the system provided by the System/ Solution Architect; ⢠Adhere to the version control system, build and release processes and coding standards; ⢠Participate design and code walk-through for review and incorporate feedback into design and code artefacts; ⢠Maintain technical documentation of all development tasks; ⢠Work with team members to identify potential risks in application design and delivery; ⢠Perform unit and integration tests and resolve any resulting issues/bugs; ⢠Work with architect and develop business systems using the .JAVA/ J2EE framework; ⢠Communicate project status, issues and risk factors to project team members; ⢠Provide maintenance and technical support for existing applications; ⢠Respond promptly within accepted timeframes to applicationâs user support and enhancement requests ensuring continued operation of the said applications; ⢠Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor; Profile: ⢠Bachelor or Master degree; ⢠+5 years working as experience in Java and Spring framework; ⢠Knowledge of Amazon AWS development environments is an advantage; ⢠Experience in performing software quality assurance activities (i.e. unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, peer reviews, etc.); ⢠Knowledge and experience of iterative/agile project delivery methods; Location: Remote; Day price: Depending on experience; Interested: Please send your resume Details Originally posted on Himalayas
