WE ARE HIRING: Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Location: Sri Lanka Employment Type: Contract Industry: Information Technology Role Overview We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade software solutions for large-scale business environments. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development expertise, cloud experience, and a passion for building scalable, highly available applications while working in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop enterprise solutions for large-scale business environments. • Build distributed and highly available applications that scale to meet enterprise demands. • Follow Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices. • Ensure high-quality code by adhering to software engineering best practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery environment. • Apply DevOps principles throughout the software lifecycle, from development and testing to deployment and production support. • Contribute to application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability initiatives. Candidate Profile • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification. • 2-4 years of experience developing production-grade enterprise applications. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices . • Strong backend development experience using Node.js (Express.js) and/or Java (Spring Boot) . • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React.js, and Next.js . • Strong understanding of frontend state management and asynchronous data handling. • Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including database design, querying, and performance optimization. • Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud services including ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and related DevOps services. • Experience with DevOps tools and practices including Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git . • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Quality Engineering best practices. • Experience working in Scrum Agile delivery environments. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented, quick learner, and committed to delivering high-quality software solutions.
