About Manta Health Manta Health is building the AI-native platform for healthcare revenue cycle management. We’re a fast-moving startup rethinking how healthcare data moves and works together — built on modern cloud and AI infrastructure. The Opportunity We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineering Contractor to join our core product team. You’ll build features end-to-end across our stack — from scalable APIs to clean, modern UIs — and collaborate closely with our founders, data engineers, and design partners. What You’ll Do • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Next.js / React, NestJS, TypeORM, and PostgreSQL • Implement reliable, scalable APIs and data models • Contribute to front-end components and user experience improvements • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and infrastructure teams • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and design sessions • Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize for scalability and maintainability • Document features, APIs, and workflows clearly and consistently Required Skills • 3–5 years of professional experience in full-stack development • Strong proficiency in: • • Next.js / React (front-end components, hooks, and state management) • NestJS (modular backend APIs with TypeScript) • TypeORM (entities, migrations, query builder) • PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization) • Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD workflows, and software best practices • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you work well in collaborative, remote teams Nice to Have • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Pulumi • Familiarity with data engineering tools such as Airflow or AWS Glue • Exposure to AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, Secrets Manager, etc.) • Background in healthcare technology or regulated data environments (HIPAA/PHI) What You’ll Bring • A collaborative mindset and strong sense of ownership • Pragmatic problem-solving — you balance speed with quality • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies • Clear communication and empathy for teammates and users alike Contract Details • Engagement: 1099 or corp-to-corp contract • Term: 6 months, with possible extension • Start Date: Immediate • Compensation: Competitive hourly or project-based rate (DOE) Originally posted on Himalayas
