Job Title: UI Engineer Job Type: Contractor Location: Remote Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop high-quality user interfaces with a strong emphasis on usability and accessibility. • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into elegant, functional UI solutions. • Implement responsive designs to ensure cross-platform and cross-device compatibility. • Champion best practices in frontend development, including component reusability and performance optimization. • Participate in design reviews and offer constructive feedback to elevate UI quality and consistency. • Stay current with the latest UI trends, technologies, and frameworks to drive innovation. • Clearly document technical decisions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Proven expertise in UI design principles and frontend development methodologies. • Extensive experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular. • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and component-based architectures. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for clear, open collaboration. • Demonstrated ability to empathize with end-users and deliver delightful experiences. • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to pixel-perfect execution. • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote, distributed environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with UI animation, micro-interactions, or design systems. • Background in building accessible, inclusive digital products. • Prior experience working with cross-functional, remote teams.
